My name is Frans. I was born in February, 1986. I lived in the Netherlands for most of my life, and am currently living in Belgium.
My favorite browser is Opera. I employ and sometimes advocate semantic web design.

About the Site
This site is built with valid, semantic HTML and CSS. Insofar as the validator displays errors or warnings regarding HTML, I think it is just making a lot of noise for no reason, although of course it is possible for me to make mistakes. Perhaps I should link to the WDG Validator instead. The CSS validator also complains about some stuff, but as far as I can tell it is wrong. At any rate, no browser complains about any errors parsing my CSS, and it displays exactly as intended.
Most of the nature photographs used to style this site were supplied by Tom McKee, and a few were taken from GeekPhilosopher.
